Paul Manister

15 years (during a 22-year military career) he acted for and briefed Intelligence agencies in London and Washington (including, amongst others, GCHQ, NSA, CIA, Whitehall) on Operational and Strategic Intelligence affairs, including encrypted communications.

He spent much of his career intercepting both Tactical and Strategic communications for (and against) all levels of government and military leadership across the globe. As an expert in interception, interpretation & analysis of intelligence, security and encryption he held clearance at TOP SECRET between 1987 and 2007 in both Military and Civilian security matters.

Chief of Defence Staff, Lord Admiral Michael Boyce, who he regularly briefed between 1999-2001, subsequently became an advisor on his last successful business venture, Olton, which he started in 2003 and sold in 2013. Board members at Olton also included James L Pavitt, former Deputy Director of the CIA (1997-2004).  Paul is now CEO of Fabric.

David Charters

Former British intelligence, investment banker, venture capitalist and businessman. He has an extensive track in financial services over 20 years as a Director of SG Warburg Securities, Managing Director at Deutsche Bank and then as an independent practitioner. He entered The City in 1988 after five years in the Secret Intelligence Service, which he joined from Cambridge University, where he graduated with a first class honours degree in Modern Languages.

Current and past directorships and advisory board roles include the security company Protection Group International, which runs the leading cyber training centre and range in the UK, the cyber security software company Glasswall Solutions, the innovative legal services company RiverView Law, whose KIM subsidiary is a pioneer in the field of Artificial Intelligence in professional services, VTB Bank Europe plc (previously the Moscow Narodny Bank), the business support services company AdviserPlus and the D Group, the UK’s leading senior executive business networking organisation.

Wayne Phillips

Has years of experience gained from working at IBM and Microsoft in the fields of Defence, Cyber Security, Justice and Public Safety to assist great companies to bring their innovative and game-changing solutions to a wider audience in Europe, The Middle East and Africa. Past roles include Director of EMEA Public Safety and National Security for Microsoft Corporation and Defence and National Security Solutions. He holds a Msc., Managerial and Administrative Studies from Ashton University and is current Worldwide Public Sector Partner Manager at Amazon Web Services.

Greg Sim

CEO of Glasswall Solutions, Entrepreneur & investor with a successful track record of strategy realisation. Glasswall provides unique document and software file inspection and sanitisation library as a Linux variant for direct integration as a component part into High Assurance Guards, Diodes and complete Cross Domain Security (CDS) solutions. Damian McAlonan

Has a 20 award-winning history in sales, advertising and marketing and has taught some of the best techniques to motivate, influence and change people’s patterns and behaviours. He has worked as Head of Media Solutions for IPC Media and Express newspapers and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and a Marketing Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing London. Damian is currently Managing Partner at The Boost Partnership HQ in London. He is Business Mentor for HRH ‘Enterprise Unit’, Resident Engagement Expert @ the Forum of Expatriate Management, Fellow for Government Think Tank – Action Now and a Judge for the 2017 Engagement International Awards.
